Christmas Custom Orders are Open!

Its been a while, but we are once again open for custom order casts! These customs will be shipped in time for the holidays, so if there's someone on your list who desperately needs a horrible undead hyena... heeeeeeeey. We got ye covered.

What's a custom order cast?
Ordering a custom from our list of preexisting casts allows you to choose the colours for yourself.
Want a lime green & gold bear with purple eyes? Can do. Spotted gryphon kitten? Okay. Pink and yellow drake? I wouldn't recommend it, but okay!

How many colours can I choose?
As many as are available in the pattern; this varies by critter. Have a look at our website at the images of a particular beast, and you should be able to see where the changes in fabrics are. Be sure and include eye, claw, horn, beak or scale colour. You can also give us a simple one or two work prompt, like 'barn owl' and we'll make it work.

What casts are available?
All our available casts are on our website; you can browse the beastiary for the full selection. Please note, there is a limit of $375 per order OR 2 critters.

How do I order?
Email the following form, filled out in full to us! wormsandbones@gmail.com

Full Name:
Mailing Address:
Paypal Email:
Cast(s): eg: werewolf & fruit bat
Colours (please place different casts on separate lines):

Is this a gift?:
Full or split payment (only applies to orders over $150 before shipping):

Once we've hashed out the details of your order, we'll send you an invoice via paypal and get to work.

Short-form FAQs – please read 'em before ye email!

Orders will be open from sept. 24
th to Oct. 1st OR until we reach our cap!

Colour choice:

Because these customs need to be out quickly, please note that fur selection is limited to what we have in-stock. We can also work from a pre-existing colour scheme, but please note we do not replicate exactly, so there will be some small variation. If you have any questions about your idea, please email us!
Custom orders do not include pattern or sculpt alterations such as added tails, wings, scars, tattoos or other modifications.

Payments:
Payments must be made via paypal, in Canadian dollars. For orders under $150 before shipping, we require full payment up front. For orders over $150 prior to shipping, you have the option to split it into two payments: half up front, half + shipping upon completion.

Shipping:
All critters are shipped via airmail. This option does NOT include tracking. If you would like to upgrade to tracked packet, please include this in your order. Please note tracked packet is roughly double the cost of regular air, and is not faster.
Yes, we ship worldwide!

Email Policy:
wormsandbones@gmail.com
Due to the massive volume of emails we get, please try to be succinct in your colour descriptions. We really appreciate it! Please remember that we are not always at the computer, and responses may take a day or two.
If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via email. No tumblr, facebook or DA messages/comments please! We might miss them!

Niumbaha Superba by WormsandBones
Niumbaha Superba
wormsandbones.comTumblrFacebookWeasyl

When I saw the first pictures of Niumbaha Superba, I wanted to drop everything and make one. Bones however took some convincing, but since we needed a way to debut the new bat face I managed to twist her arm. This face will replace our old insectivore, since it was one of our oldest sculpts still circulating. The fruit bat will be replaced in a few months time, but for now he's safe.

This guy wasn't sculpted specifically to be a superba, but he doesn't look too bat (hahaha, sorry!).

He's made of faux fur with welted & dyed stripes, with a cast resin head from our original sculpt that's hand-painted then sealed. His spine is ball and socket joints that lets him look around, curl up, or clean his wings. His wings are poseable, sewn from heavy felt, and he's got a little loop under his bum that means he can be pinned to your shoulder, bag or hat... or just about anything else that won't protest having a pin stuck in it.

We'll have a selection of these new bats at fanexpo at the end of the month. :)

We'll be at fanexpo again at the end of the month - come find us at the front of Artist's Alley (look for the giant technicolour mountain of faux fur). Bonus points if you bring coffee & doughnuts. I'm only kidding a little. *cough*

Also, if you have any questions please be sure and check out our website.
We've got an FAQ there that covers most of the basics, but of course if you don't see an answer to your query there just drop us a line. Please don't leave us comments or note - we don't check in to DA very often, and we may overlook it, thereby inadvertently looking like jerks. Email is the best way to get a hold of us (and by us, I mean Bones who does most of the emails bless her black little heart).

Awh darn you guys are closed! I would love to commission you at some point. I'll keep an eye out for when you open.
But I guess I might as well pop in a suggestion! Seeing Chimeras would be pretty cool <3

i've looked through your gallery and i adore all the little lovelies you've made. :) (Smile) they are all so cute.

If you don't mind me asking, for the posable dolls, are the heads already attached to the armature before you put the body on? if so, how would that work?
and what about the soft bodied ones? how would i go about making those?

i've been entertaining the idea of making an art doll but i've never done it before so i don't want to waste materials. which doll would you suggest me to start off with?

Hey there, just popping in to say thanks again for the awesome white Gar I picked up at anime north. Even my other half took a shine to him, and generally he is a bit creeped out by dolls (I have no idea why )

What kind of stone did you have in mind for him when you painted him? I would love to know for the write-up for my upcoming photoshoot ;)

It was rotten luck that I couldn't find your stand until hours of looking, but I'll keep my eyes out for more griffins, foxes, and wolves in the future.
Anywho, thanks again, your work is so beautiful, and it's an honour to have some of it in my room :) (Mr. Gar is currently in a meditation pose, shadow-casted by some tealites :meow:)
