We put this guy together between working on our custom orders, because well, we love werewolves <3.
Based on an arctic wolf, he's warm yellow/gold eyes and a yellow-based white pelt. Standing 18.5" tall posed comfortably (he'd be taller howling for instance) with a 17.5" armspan, he's a big fella.
His head, hands and feet are all cast in resin from our original sculpts for durability, then hand-painted to match his pelt. Bones designed the pattern, and sewed him up using vegan friendly faux fur. We gave him a good brushing out before assembling him with ball and socket joints so he's got a realistic range of movement and durability on his side (ball joints don't wear out or break down like wire eventually does, so you can pose and repose him without worrying).
Dunno what else to say, except maybe AROOOooOooOoo?
I love this! And dolls like this (sorry I don't know the technical term for such dolls :/) I hope you don't mind me asking, but I've always wanted to learn how to make these. are there any tutorials out there that you know of? Classes perhaps? Or...anything that you're ok with sharing? I have a fair amount of faith in what I can sculpt, and I'm just starting to dabble in using mold casting and resin. But as far as bodies go...-shrug-
