Remember that raspberry Scugog we were going to make? Well, since Bones came up with a perfect firey combo of furs, we decided to go that route instead. Glad we did, this guy is one of my favorites! Painting was more of a challenge than usual as well which was kinda fun, if time consuming. Trying to make sure the gradient is identical on all four feet, top bottom and sides was interesting. Needless to say he's a little more complex than most. He'll also be the last pre-made available until sometime after ComicCon in March.
This vegan-friendly dragon is completely poseable, head to toe with a realistic range of movement and pretty darn good balance too. He's assembled using ball and socket joints rather than wire, so he's endlessly poseable without the worry of wire fatigue. Bones sewed his body by hand, including all the individual scales from his throat to his tail tuft, and his cast resin head, feet & antlers are all hand painted. He's also large enough to wear around your neck: he's actually bigger than one of our cats... but thankfully less likely to scratch.
Scugogs are definitely the most playful of all our homemade horrors, although they're also quite fond of naps (most of them snore by the way). Previously thought to be mostly scavengers, and prefer fish, we recently learned via an adorable little drabble from they're happy enough eating rabbit too...provided they can actually catch one.
He'll be up for sale on etsy in a little while (must finish emails!), or you can drop us a line via email if you'd like to claim him before then: wormsandbones@gmail.com.
absolument superbe !!! est ce que tu faitdes tutoriel pour montrer comment tu fait? j'aimerai faire une peluche pour une amie, mais j'ai du mal a faire la tete :/
LOL We loved it! Honestly, we just sorta, hopped in circles around the computer after we read it being stupidly happy. Its SO interesting to see other people create something in a totally different media inspired by something we made!

Recognition has earned you my undying loyalty! The next drabble will be better, I promise!
