We occasionally have a pressing need to try out a new fur, as was the case with this guy. The short gold is a new one we wanted to try out, and it worked beautifully. Standing over 18.5" tall when comfortably posed (taller when he's howling of course) with an armspan only an inch shorter, he's quite large. His head, hands and feet are all cast in durable resin from our original sculpts, then hand-painted to match his pelt, and sealed with a protective coating. His body is sewn from our made-from-scratch pattern with heavy duty thread using vegan friendly faux fur.

He's fully articulated using ball and socket joints that allow him a realistic range of movement, and provide a durability that can't be achieved with wire. He's also easier to pose, and repose than a wired sculpt would be, and you needn't worry about the plastic joints breaking down over time. He's meant to be enjoyed! He can sit, crouch, lie down, even balance on one foot and his hands have been sculpted in such a way that he can hold many things while maintaining a believable gesture.
