Just a cute little photo of one of the custom Scugog casts. I need to start taking photos in the daytime when its not so dark!
This guy's 100% handmade, his head, feet and antlers are cast in resin from our original sculpt then painted by handle and assembled with his hand sewn body using plastic ball and socket armature. This stuff is great in that its nice and sturdy, and won't break down with frequent reposing like wire does.
i've never seen someone pose their clay plushies this way. XD i lol'd at it. "i can't stay still, my frickin' ear is killing me." XD i'm doing a phoenix. i'm not quite sure how to do an armature with the super cheap materials i own, so mine will be ghetto rigged. XD i love these little clay and stuffed animal sculptures. they're my favorite things to check out and look at. they're always so cute!
ps - i like how you did the antlers thick rather than like noodles! looks like they wouldn't break very easy that way. .)
