Noa by WormsandBones Noa by WormsandBones
We're still not totally set on a name for these guys, but the running joke at the moment is that its a 'noa', as in 'not-a-moa'. They're a little bit of terrorbird, a little bit of valcona, and a little bit of moa. Essentially, they were my 'oh god, I need to just MAKE something for fun', and not something we planned out extensively. We don't generally work so off the cuff (or if we do, we don't post it!) but we like him well enough.

We'll take a few of these guys to Fanexpo with us, just to see how they're received. And yes, he looks like he disapproves of your life choices from just about any angle. :P

I want one of these badly! When will cosstos be open again! What if I wanted a red one is there any way I could see what it would look like before u made it?  Like is there any way to see how colors would look on it?

We don't have a firm date for custom slots right now, as I'm on rest for an injury. There's no way for you to see how colours would look before its made (not sure how we'd accomplish this!), but you can always keep an eye on our shop and see if you like any of the in-stock noas that might come along. :)
He looks like such trouble! That grump face. LOVE him, y'all.

Hehe... after we sculpted this guy, I realized his expression kinda reminds me of Sam the Eagle from the muppets.

:) Thanks
I'm going to commission you guys one day, I swear.
I live with the flying version of "Noa"  :D  He's a Timneh African Grey!  LOL
Terror birds are among my favorite flightless avians, even if they are extinct. Their closest living descendant is the secretary bird, which lives in Africa and eats lizards and snakes. Then there's the roadrunner, and that eats lizards and snakes too. But that lives in America.
