If you follow our tumblr your probably know already that I did a number on the tendons in my right arm. We'd planned to release these guys later this summer, but thanks to my being essentially laid-up for weeks, we figured we might as well show 'em off sooner rather than later.
These guys are the first solid state sculptures we've done in a while (beyond the ones we've done just for giggles that don't get posted anyway!) and the first ones we've cast specifically to be paint-your-owns. They're cast resin from our original sculpts, and they are a limited edition - once the first round of molds blow, there won't be any more.
We've sculpted them in such a way that they should be relatively easy to paint even for a novice, but also so that if you wanna get magical with the paint, you should be able to do that as well. I've posted an example of each of the three painted up, just to give people some idea of what can be done.
Dimensions for everybody are on the website, and we'll have a few of each with us at our upcoming conventions - CostumeCon April 25th, and Anime North May 23rd.
