This little guy is sold, but you can custom order a silver fox like him. See our journal for details. For those who won't eat their green eggs & ham without a fox.
This guy is the first of our resin foxes, cast from an original sculpt. He's hand painted & hand sewn, and assembled with ball & socket armature that means he won't break with frequent reposing like wire. He can sit, stand, lie down, stretch out, (pee on stuff...) and be posed in walking positions. If you can bend the laws of gravity, he could also be posed in jumping positions. :3
We decided to make the first one a more realistic coat pattern, but we plan on doing a variety of colours realistic as well as wild.
NB: He doesn't have the correct eyes - unfortunately we're still waiting for those to come in. :/ Once they are however, we'll swap 'em out for the proper slitted pupils.
Custom fox orders are open. Please see the custom cast journal for info on ordering: [link]
Heh, I kind of like the 'wrong' eyes he has now. He looks all nervous and jittery. Cute as hell, too. Awesome stuff! How long does it usually take you to make something like this?
He definitely does look more nervous than the foxes with the slitted eyes - we should probably post some of those guys for comparison at some point! The casting cuts out the long sculpting process time, but its still about five hours since they're all hand sewn & hand painted. Plus there's drying time for the sealer finish, brushing out seams, painting & glossing eyes & claws... so it can actually take more like 6-7 depending on the complexity of the paint job.
