Vance Hayden by WormsandBones Vance Hayden by WormsandBones
One of our first custom werewolves! Hayden here was a custom for :iconteknicolortiger:, who even drew us a little reference turn-around of the character, which was awesome. Its October, I'm officially allowed to start making comments about halloween. Werewolves & pumpkins, hooray!

Hayden has a few extra features; his shoulders and flanks are hand dyed, he's got some extra pieces in his neck ruff and his cape goes all the way down to his tail. He's also got a little sculpted goatee, for 10% extra dapperness.

He's totally poseable via ball and socket joints, and contains no wire. He's hand painted, sewn, and cast in resin from our original sculpts so he's nice and sturdy. He's also a pretty large fellow (werewolves: go big or go home), with pretty fabulous balance and uh, a winning smile?

The character belongs to :iconteknicolortiger:, we just got lucky enough to make him.

Could you do a blonde were with similar pelt patterns? I'm definitely interested, although I see your suction slots are full. If he was 1/6 scale, maybe a wee bit bigger, I could add the gear I wanted to to complete the character.

How much would one of these be by chance? Or a commission of a character in general?

Customs weres go for $275 (I should be more smart and actually put info in the image comment. DERP!). If your character is a werewolf, so long as there aren't any sculpted additions or wild patterns that require a lot of hand dying, $275 covers it.

Thanks very much! Its definitely a challenge to sculpt an expression that is clear enough to read immediately, but complex enough to be interesting in different situations.

That poor pumpkin has been through so much by now... its slowly subsiding into moosh I'm afraid. But it was definitely a good choice for that fur. I'll pretend I thought of that before, and it wasn't a happy accident. *cough*

I'm very glad you had fun working on him then. It's always nice to hear that an artist is enthusiastic about a commission (that way I don't feel like I'm forcing them to 'work' and chances are the final product will turn out well. :P). All this talk about tophats and such makes me want to see if I can get a set for Hayden here. Tophat, monocle, waistcoat, why, werewolves are respectable gentleman. It also works 'cause Hayden's super-British and grew up in the 1800s. XD

Ahhh! This turned out fantastic -- needs moar tophat! But seriously though, the dye job is fantastic and looks really natural. The hand sculpts are delightful too. I want to play with him.

Harhar. Aren't you supposed to say something about symmetry? Hrrmmmmm? :3 We ordered a top hat, but its too big alas. Its cool - by the time we get the Derek wolf done we'll have a properly sized tophat.
We just need someone with a Stiles bjd for the photoshoot...

Symmetry is for suckers! But too big top hats are the worst crime of happen-stance :C

fdkfdkjsdkj I give that photoshoot three thumbs up. I went and stole another thumb just to convey my approval! <3
