Its far too late for good photography, but I wanted to throw up a snapshot in the meantime.
Our latest horror comes to us courtesy of both a little imagination, and some lucky paleontologists. This 'friendly' fellow will get a full photo shoot shortly, and a proper description with it... until then, anyone care to hazard a guess as to what she might be?
Fair warning; incorrect guessers forfeit a limb. Hey, we gotta feed these guys somehow.

I was going to say a mesonychid, but not enough toes... I'm sure the others before me who suggested an entelodont are much closer. ;) Very cool looking!

A mesonychid would make a good subject too though, I think!

I like the markings you chose for this guy a lot, as well as his less-than pretty nature. He's a bulk and muscle and swagger- this is not a graceful beast.
