For the curious, here's the original Scugog made in August 2011.

I like this guy so much I had to make him his own collage. He's based on a wildebeest as per his commissioner's request and man did he come out lookin' classy... even if Bones cried about those stripes. :P

Like all the rest of our monsters, he's 100% handmade, with head hands, feet and antlers cast in resin. They're then hand painted and sealed. Bones sews the bodies all by her onesie, and we then assemble that with the resin peices using a plastic ball and socket armature that makes these guys sturdy and gives 'em a realistic range of motion. There's no wire in Scugogs.
They can sit, stand, roll over, pee on things... you name it. Well, except hover in mid-air or...look intelligent.

Once we get through the pre-orders, we'll add Scugog to our list of custom casts available for purchase.
Scugog & his design belong to Homemade Horrors. :)

Oh goodness. These are so wonderful. Is there any possibility you can post some photos of a scugog with the belly scales and one without? Are the scales felt? And will these still be $225/250 the next time they become available, or do you have some estimation of about how much more they will be?

Oh wow, he did come out looking very dapper! I can only imagine how awesome he'll look in person, can't wait for him to arrive! Also, please do give my apologies and gratitude to Bones for his stripes. They do look amazing though!
